Week 15 ~ Rolling Over

Guess what? I was taking a nap 2 days ago (or so my mommy thought) when she glanced up at the monitor screen & she saw me on my tummy!!! I heard her run upstairs and she was shocked that I had rolled over! She turned me back over to see if i would do it again.... and yep, i flung myself right back over to my tummy. Daddy is going to put a video of me rolling over on my blog! I now roll over every chance i get! I still need to work on rolling from my tummy to my back (i now only can do that if i lose my balance!).

Week 13 & 14 ~ Sleeping in my CRIB!

Well everyone, the time came... i graduated from my bassinet to my crib! I slept for 8 hours straight. And to think my mommy kept saying that i wasn't ready - i think she wasn't ready for me to leave her room! (don't worry mommy, i won't tell everyone that you tried to sleep on a blanket on my floor the first night - it was only because the floor was too hard, you left after an hour! I'll just keep that between me & daddy). The past few weeks I have become obsessed with trying to roll over! I am soooooo close! I watched my first FSU game - lets not talk about the ending, i was quite upset! Oh, i went to my first spa at Chateau Elan for mommy's birthday. Mommy & Daddy strolled me all around the vineyard. I hung out with daddy while mommy was at the spa - i even took my first bottle from him. Oh, one more thing ~ I stayed with my Gramzee for about 8 hours while my mommy & daddy went to a wedding. This was the longest that they have ever left me. I took all 3 bottles perfectly & played with Gramzee the whole time.

Playing & Playing ~ Week 11 & 12

Playing, Eating, & Sleeping... what more could a girl ask for??!  Hmmmm, what's new?Well, reaching and grabbing my toys is now old news ~ i'm an old pro at that!  I smile all the time and just giggled for the first time!  You would have thought i stood up & started walking because my mommy & daddy were so excited. I've only done it a couple other times since then - don't want to do it too much or it will lose the effect!

10 weeks ~ Water Baby!

Well, i have now officially gone to the pool!  Once i got over the shock of the cold water, i loved it.  I kept trying to think of it as a big bath tub (which i love!).   My g-pa 

and mamie were in town most of the week so i played with them a lot!  Also, my great aunt suzanne & my cousins (sarah, hannah, hailee, & john thomas) drove from Maryland all the way to atlanta to see me.  I've been practicing reaching and grabbing my toys.  My favorite toy to grab is my baby doll!  I love to put whatever i get my hands on in my mouth too!

9 weeks!

Hi!  I took my big trip to the Dr. this week & I weighed 10.5 and i'm 22 inches now!  I'm such a growing girl!  I was however clearly disappointed because i used to love going to see my doctor, but this time i had to get 3 shots!  I was shocked the first one so i didn't really cry.  But when that nurse stuck me 2 more times I screamed at the top of my lungs!  My mommy & daddy quickly calmed me down and i was back to my old self.  I'm now sleeping a good 6 hrs. every night ~ I think everyone is a lot more rested in the morning.  I'm still in love with my hands & try to put them in my mouth whenever i can.  When someone shows me a toy i'm starting to try to reach for it.  I will say though - my grip is getting a lot stronger.  My mommy rarely wears earrings or her hair down because i love to pull them.  My Grandpa and Mamie came in town on Friday to visit me from Destin, Florida.  We have been having a lot of fun!  My grandpa couldn't believe how much I have grown since he first saw me in the hospital.  Stay tuned for next week with my first trip to the pool!
